This is a rat interesting recipe, to say the least, but I think you'll like it :-) I love chia seeds, especially in my oats & smoothies so discovering another way to use them is exciting!
The little seeds seem to bother some people, but that's one of the things I like about chia! It gives your culinary creation a bit of a texture, I think. When soaked in water or juice, chai seeds take on a gelatinous aspect making for a great, healthy emulsifier.
When searching for chia fresca recipes, I settled on this pomegranate lime recipe from Oh My Veggies.
4
Pomegranate Lime Chia Fresca
3 tablespoons chia seeds
1/2 cup water
3/4 pomegranate juice
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
Dump your chia seeds in a glass. Pour the water, pomegranate juice & lime juice over the seeds. Let sit for at least 15 minutes and then whisk to break up any clumps. Serve and enjoy for your post workout snack or as a summer refresher!

Because chia seeds absorb the liquid they can help prolong hydrate which is just what you need on a hot summer day or after a workout. And, just as a point of interest the word "chia" is from the Mayan culture meaning "strength".
Bright colors :)
Garden fresh tomatoes on whole wheat bread with mayo, a healthy hunk of watermelon, chips & spinach/garlic hummus make a great lunch!

Everyone eats so everyone helps :) Today is field peas!
Supper last night was delicious: corn-on-the-cob, boiled eggs, tomatoes (from Tuesday), homemade sweet biscuits, served with sliced roast. When it's really hot outside it's nice to have those light options but with some substance, too!
I was up super late last night with my sister working on a project. Breakfast this morning was rather late as a result!
I added banana for sweetener & chia seeds for thickener to this kale smoothie. Remember to soak your chia seeds so that your body will absorb the nutrition.
I don't want to end on a bad note, but I am so upset about the Supreme Court's decision for ObamaCare! What a sad, sinful state our country is in. It's time for us, the families & individuals of our nation, to grow up and start taking personal responsibility! The civil government is NOT a god. Education will not save us, food stamps will not save us, and ObamaCare certainly won't save us. Jesus Christ, His laws & His ways, is the only way to save our country.
That being said, I'll end on a good note :-) "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea." -Habakkuk 2:14

We have quite the operation going on this year :) We'd put up close to 200 ears of corn by 9am yesterday morning.
